What is the cost and how do I arrange payment?

Our program is designed to address your individual needs.  Therefore, the fee for service is based upon your particular needs.  The investment for your Foundation is $7,500 for 30 days.  We believe you should invest in your future wisely!  If special medical or professional therapeutic treatment is required, those costs are the responsibility of the guest.  Revised on March 6, 2010.

What is alcohol and drug addiction recovery?

Alcohol and drug addiction recovery provides alternatives to the destructive behaviors associated with alcohol and other drug addiction. The Last Resort Real Life Recovery Program emphasizes the mind, the body, and the spirit. The Foundation recovery process at The Last Resort is an integrated approach. We believe that human beings need to be responsible for their own choices and behaviors. We will educate you and facilitate you through the foundational process of your recovery.

What is the average length of stay?

Your Foundation itinerary is 30 days in duration followed by a one year mentoring and accountability program.  However, folks with dual diagnosis, vocational needs, or deemed necessary for long term treatment the magic number moves to 90 days.

Can my family call or visit?

The Last Resort encourages family contact and provides for communication. Treatment issues specific to the family are addressed.

What happens after treatment?

Your return home and recovery in your community is integral to your lifelong success. Therefore, continuation of your recovery at home , your goals, dreams and independent living needs begin day one with The Last Resort Recovery Program. The Last Resort will place an emphasis on assisting you to arrange definitive plans for continuation of the recovery process in your local community. Additionally, our Home Away from Home Aftercare program is available.

Do you accept folks with a dual diagnosis?

Yes, a person who has both an alcohol or drug and an emotional – psychiatric challenge is said to have a dual diagnosis. In order to recover fully, the person needs to address both of these challenges. An integrated dual disorder recovery has been shown to work effectively for folks with both challenges. The good news is that you can achieve recovery. The Last Resort will assist you to identify and develop your own recovery goals, direction plan and develop the skills to manage your mental health symptoms.  This process includes learning about steps toward recovery from both illnesses.

The Last Resort will do everything possible to help you build a positive life for yourself without alcohol or drugs. We understand that for most people recovery includes meaningful activities, like a job, friendships with people who do not use alcohol or drugs, a safe place to live, and enjoying leisure activities that are fun and relaxing.
