Outpatient Drug and Alcohol Rehab
We Can Help You Overcome Your Addiction.
Many patients require a stay in a rehabilitation facility in order to fully detox from drugs or alcohol, which means that often, they have a difficult time going back to “real life” and coping with day-to-day struggles without feeling the pull of substance abuse.
Though many patients can successfully complete inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation, one of the most important steps during any recovery substance abuse is successfully re-integrating into society after a stay in a rehabilitation facility.
At Beachway, we believe that helping patients overcome their addiction to drugs or alcohol is about much more than simply stopping substance abuse. We believe that successful outpatient drug rehab requires extensive support from family, friends, and peers, which is why we offer extensive outpatient alcohol rehab programs to provide ongoing support as part of the full recovery process.

How Beachway Helps Outpatients
Beachway is more than just a facility for outpatient rehabilitation; it’s a safe, supportive place where staff, patients, and their families can work together to understand the symptoms of substance abuse. Our combined efforts in support of treatment can help patients with completing their outpatient drug or alcohol rehab program, and provide the steps necessary to learn how to live a happy, fulfilled life free of substance abuse.
We understand that leaving the safe space of a rehabilitation facility and going back to everyday life can be a difficult and challenging process. This is why Beachway is proud to offer outstanding Intensive Outpatient rehab and Outpatient alcohol and drug rehab programs, which assist patients with re-integrating after going through rehab.
By providing our patients with support in the form of ongoing therapy and group counseling, we can help recovering addicts learn to manage their triggers, stressors, and other issues that have the potential to result in relapse.
What Does Beachway Offer Outpatients?
For patients who are currently in recovery and feel ready to start taking the next steps towards independence, Beachway offers an Intensive Outpatient drug rehab and Intensive Outpatient alcohol rehab Program, which provides outpatients support in the form of regular group therapy sessions. These sessions are led by qualified professionals who are trained to lead a variety of groups in order to benefit our patients during their recovery process.
The topics covered in these sessions will address a variety of issues that individuals often face and struggle with during their time as an outpatient in recovery. Some of these topics include, but are not limited to, money management strategies such as creating and sticking to a budget, understanding the thoughts and emotions behind “triggers” which might lead to bad decision-making, and how to adapt to new challenges and make better decisions.
At Beachway we also offer open process groups for our patients, which provide safe, non-judgmental opportunities for individuals in recovery to share their everyday lives, struggles, and successes together.
We believe that by providing appropriate levels of support to our outpatients, we can help to fill the void that many individuals who struggle with drug and alcohol abuse feel when they stop using. Our Intensive Outpatient and Outpatient Programs are designed to provide ongoing support and to help heal our patients in mind, body, and spirit, so they can begin rebuilding their life after rehab.
We Know How Unique Your Situation Is
No two people are alike, which means that no two addictions are the same, either, and many addictions and substance abuse problems emerge as a result of more deep-seated issues.
At Beachway, we work with each patient to develop individualized treatment plans to fit their unique needs. This is why we take the time to help patients not only successfully complete their outpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation process, but also provide them support to mend the psychological issues which caused the addiction to form in the first place.
Our trained professionals know that, too often, drug and alcohol abuse stems from unaddressed core issues which prevent patients from building healthy mental processes and learning to cope with issues in healthy ways.
Some of these causes can include:
- Low self-esteem
- Coping with trauma and abuse
- Dealing with grief and loss
- Sex addiction
- Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
- Codependency
- Issues relating to self-worth and love
- Compulsive gambling
We take the time to assess each situation carefully and develop a drug or alcohol outpatient treatment plan which can focus on a variety of issues which might be plaguing our patients and leading them to turn to substance abuse.
By understanding the fundamental issues which led to the addiction, we can help patients on their road to recovery, and assist them with making healthy choices when faced with future “trigger” situations, or emotions which may lead them to use again.
How We Can Help You
We will work with you or your loved one to assess the level of appropriate care and support, and assign a primary therapist who will guide and manage the recovery process. If you are completing our Intensive Outpatient drug rehab program, in addition to one-on-one therapy and counseling, we also require that patients participating in our intensive outpatient program attend group support sessions.
Attendance at these group and individual sessions is critical to maintain the continuum of care, and to manage a successful recovery. This is because support from peers who are experiencing the same highs, lows, successes, and struggles can make recovery less isolating, and having a strong support system is crucial to ensure patients do not relapse after all their hard work getting clean.
Group sessions are currently offered on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 5:30 – 8:30pm, with make-up sessions available on Saturday mornings. If you have trouble accessing the center, we offer transportation within a 5-mile radius of the center.
