By accepting all major forms of insurance, we can typically assist patients in eliminating the majority (if not all) of the expenses related to rehab.
Where do I find my insurance info?
You should have a member ID card, and you may also have a letter included with your policy package/book. If not, try emailing or calling your insurance provider directly.
What are some common limitations of insurance?
Depending on the plan, rehab coverage may be limited to a certain number of visits or to a specific length of treatment. These ‘limitations’ are referred to as benefit maximums.
The handbook your insurance provider offers should detail any benefit maximums to consider.
Does coverage vary by addiction type?
In most cases, insurance benefits are directly tied to the type of addiction an individual faces. This is based largely on the expected withdrawal period associated with the addiction.
Which insurance providers does Beachway accept?
The providers we work with the most are Assurance Health, Vista Insurance Partners, Humana, Aetna, Cigna, BlueCross BlueShield and United Healthcare.
Is coverage different for in-patient programs?
Outpatient treatment programs are usually covered for a longer length of time than in-patient treatment programs. Since outpatient programs don’t include room and board, they are less expensive.
Do I need a referral to get treatment?
You don’t need a doctors referral before you contact Beachway or your insurance provider about coverage.
