Rehab Testimonials

The Last Resort Recovery Program
"
If anyone had told me, even six months ago, that I would spend 91 days in an alcohol/drug recovery program, I would have been incredulous.  Alcohol rehab? Me? Yet, on January 25th of this year, I enrolled in Dan Callahan’s recovery program, The Last Resort, Real Life Recovery."

Private Drug Rehabilitation Center:

You don't have to be rich to go to a drug rehab, but it surely helps. Do a web search for drug and alcohol rehab and you will locate hundreds of recovery centers. Most of these programs will not list their prices. Those that show their prices range from $20,000 a month to $50,000 a month. Move to their 90 day programs which offer the client the best chance for prolonged recovery and that price doubles! The key we have found is to offer rehab for the wealthy and for the middle class.

Furthermore typically these prices are not inclusive of all the services the other centers provide. Read the fine print and you will see that the medical exam, dental exam, and other services are offered but you must fund a retainer to pay for these services. The basic rate is for a quad-dorm, meaning you have 3 additional roommates, if you want a private or semi private room you will need to pay more money! Not a big deal you may think, but try to sleep with one or two other people with sleep challenges, snoring or worse yet gas! By the time you add up all of the costs involved in your treatment you need to add an additional $5,000, $10,000 or more. If you are in need of assistance you or your loved one may be eligible for a scholarship but that is solely for their core rehab program. Of course a financial aide adviser can assist you to locate a home equity loan or suggest a 401K loan to get the help you need!

By the way do not forget the family program that is highly recommended, add another $2,500 for that! Upon discharge expect a referral to an approved aftercare program. Expect to sit in an aftercare group and individual therapy for 6 to 12 months!

Information on Drug services:

Drug addiction is a life altering phenomenon − one that is not only a complicated force of habit, but also one which makes a person completely disregard the consequences of the addiction on both mental, as well as physical health. A high degree of dependence on a particular substance causes significant alteration of brain chemicals that may have long-term after effects.

However, it is possible to treat drug addiction. A huge range of drug services are available at most places and even online that help cure any kind of drug addiction.

These treatment programs offer both medical, as well as psychological counseling. Most drug services concentrate on the detoxification procedure as the first step in rehabilitation of the patient. The process involves cleansing of the entire body so that all traces of drugs in the body’s chemicals can be removed. Detoxification is extremely important as a patient will not be able to get involved in any kind of rehabilitation program before having undergone a cleansing process.

Drug service centers also help patients get back to routine healthy diets that strengthen the body’s immune system, and cures weaknesses that have been incurred by consistent over exposure to drugs. Nutritional meals at regular intervals throughout the day help the body to recuperate, and enhance energy and motivational levels in the individual.

The other crucial part of drug services is counseling. Rehabilitation of drug addicts involves different kinds of counseling which are important by themselves, and also play a significant role when used in combination. One on one counseling, or personal counseling, helps identify the inherent strengths and weaknesses of each patient. On being made aware of his/ her underlying vulnerabilities, a person is empowered to deal with the problems and ultimately emerges stronger.

Group counseling is another technique used by drug services. This kind of counseling connects a drug abuser with people facing the same set of challenges. In this way, the individual can work with others and become a more responsible person, socially. Family counseling is also tremendously helpful when it comes to social rehabilitation of a patient. Relationships within the family and society are fostered, and this can ultimately act as a great support for people recovering from drug addiction.
