Dr. Mayuly Len
Dr. Len is the Vice-President and Co-Owner of the Acupuncture and Massage Center – Centro Jade with clinics in Volcan, Chiriqui and in Panama City in the Republic of Panama.
Dr. Len has advanced studies in Tui Na (Chinese massage therapy). She completed her advanced studies in muscle-skeletal conditions with Tui Na and acupuncture at the Shanghai Yue Yang Integrated Medicine Hospital, which is affiliated to the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Shanghai, China. Her mentor, Dr. Ding is a renown Traditional Chinese Medicine doctor, which specializes in Tui Na treating cervical spondylopathy, lumbar pathologies, and other spinal diseases. Also, Dr. Len spent sometime in the Tui Na pediatric department which expanded her clinical skills and has used them to alleviate and improve adults and children quality of life.
Dr. Len graduated with a master’s degree in Oriental Medicine from the Acupuncture and Massage College in Miami, Florida; one of the oldest certified schools in Traditional Chinese Medicine in the United States of America. She is a licensed Oriental Medicine Physician in the State of Florida, United States of America and certified by the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine).
Also, she completed with honors the program of Massage Therapy from the Southeast Institute of Oriental Medicine and is a licensed Massage Therapist in the State of Florida, United States of America and certified by the Department of Health, Division of Medical Quality Assurance.
Years before moving back to Panama, she had a part time private practice, community clinics services, and working experiences in renown hotels and medical spas such as the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Miami, Florida.
Today, her reason for practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine is the joy she gets by sharing with others her experiences and helping them to recover from physical and emotional pains as well as chronic illnesses. Moreover, she focuses in improving people’s quality of life, bringing hope and beauty to others’ life by implementing her knowledge and skills in Tui Na, massage therapy, acupuncture, cupping therapy, exercises, and food therapy for a better health, for a better life.
