Rehab Testimonials

The Last Resort Recovery Program
"
If anyone had told me, even six months ago, that I would spend 91 days in an alcohol/drug recovery program, I would have been incredulous.  Alcohol rehab? Me? Yet, on January 25th of this year, I enrolled in Dan Callahan’s recovery program, The Last Resort, Real Life Recovery."

Alcohol Rehab & When it is Needed.

Click and watch our video about alcohol rehab programs.

Drinking alcoholic beverages is a common site at dinner tables across the United States and even more common in coolers at parties. Unfortunately, the recreational use of alcohol can often turn into alcohol addiction and abuse with deadly consequences: domestic violence, car accidents and physical violence. According to the National Center for Health Statistics, about 20,600 deaths are caused by alcohol abuse in the United States each year, and this number does not include car accidents and homicides. Deaths caused by liver disease due to alcoholism number about 12,300 each year. Those caught in the grips of alcoholism will find that their drinking spreads into every aspect of their lives resulting in broken marriages, lost jobs, ruined reputations and shattered self-esteem.

Alcohol rehab is one of our primary concerns. Dedicated to the individual whose alcohol abuse is compounded by mental and emotional problems, our staff is professionally trained to help anyone who suffers from addiction. The Last Resort Recovery Program provides the tools that you or your loved one will need to maintain abstinence when they return home.

When It's Time To Go To an Alcohol Rehab Center

Some who have watched the alcoholic behavior of their friend or family member slowly progress may be uncertain as to when the time for alcohol rehab has come. Likewise, those who are in the midst of their alcoholism may be convinced that they "don't have a problem" or have their drinking "under control." They may even believe that their alcohol abuse is unnoticed by others and that is has no effect on their employment, home or family life. Alcohol rehab centers may seem like something that is necessary for rich widows with nothing else to do or street junkies who are destitute. But, if you think you might need alcohol rehab, you probably do, and if your loved one is hurting his/her self and those around them with their excessive drinking, it's time to go to a rehab center.

The Last Resort Recovery Program is committed to helping you or your loved one through the emotionally difficult and physically uncomfortable transition from alcohol dependence to an alcohol and drug-free lifestyle. Depression is a common occurrence during this time. Staff members at The Last Resort are prepared to address these issues as well. Assisting folks with co-occurring disorders, or the existence of alcoholism or drug addiction in addition to another issue like depression, and mental or emotional illnesses.

Crucial First Few Months …

The first few months without alcohol are crucial. It is during this time you will stockpile the knowledge and gain the skills you’ll rely on in the coming years -- as you adjust to an alcohol-free lifestyle. This is why it is imperative that you choose an alcohol rehab center that has the access to all the treatment services you need.

The Last Resort Recovery Program you will begin with time to detoxify your body if necessary. It is here that you will get over the physical addiction to alcohol that may be plaguing you. We provide assistance with the symptoms as they occur and help you get the rest, relaxation and good nutrition you need to make it as comfortable as possible.  Medical Detox may be necessary before you begin the recovery program.

Our Discovery/Recovery Program …

Learn about our ‘discovery/recovery’ program and how we get to the bottom of WHY a person turns to alcohol in the first place.

We believe we’ve discovered the ‘source’ of what really causes a person to hide behind alcohol. Our treatment philosophies and modalities go to the core issues … and we do NOT focus on what’s wrong with you.

We help you (or your loved one) discover what’s right with you – and build on that truth!

In our alcohol treatment section, you’ll also learn about our medical, dental and other health care policies and what is included in the price.

Daniel CallahanI’m Dan Callahan, founder of The Last Resort, and I’ve been where you are. I would like to invite you to call me to discuss your own alcohol addiction – or on behalf of someone you love and care deeply about.

I have traveled down this long road of recovery. And this journey, like any other, begins with the first step!

So, take that first step and call me to ask anything about the process, your specific issues, the costs -- or anything at all that you’d like to know.

Or, if you feel more comfortable, just complete the form below, and I’ll get back with you just as soon as I possibly can.

You matter to us!
